Air Brake & Suspension Repair
An out-of-service brake defect takes a unit off the board until it is corrected. We carry the components and the tooling to correct it in your yard rather than in a shop queue.
The work
Brake, air and suspension work
Brake and air-system defects are the most common reason a heavy vehicle is placed out of service, and they are also among the most straightforward to correct properly with the right parts on the truck. The difficulty is rarely the repair. It is that the unit is sitting somewhere it cannot legally move from, waiting on a vendor.
Because we work on your property, a defect found during a walkaround or an inspection gets corrected where the unit is parked, and the paperwork is documented per unit alongside the rest of its service history.
- Air brake diagnosis, adjustment and component replacement
- Chambers, slack adjusters, S-cams and foundation brake work
- Air lines, valves, dryers and compressor faults
- ABS fault diagnosis on tractor and trailer
- DOT out-of-service defect correction
- Air suspension — bags, height control valves, leaks
- Shocks, bushings, hangers and spring work
- Trailer brake and air-system work

Coverage
Engines and makes
Cummins and Detroit Diesel, including Cummins LNG and CNG alternative-fuel systems, across Freightliner, International, Isuzu, Hino, Autocar.
Brake and air work is also the part of a PM inspection where problems get caught before they become violations, which is why we fold it into every preventative maintenance visit rather than treating it as a separate call.
